Jamun Sharbat Recipe

Jamun is an amazing fruit, full of minerals and vitamins. This is a refreshing and energizing Jamun Sharbat to have this summer. Give this black plum drink and do share your experience with us.

Ingredients:

  • Jamun (Black Plums) 1Kg
  • Water 2 Cups
  • Sugar ½ Cup
  • Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp
  • Black Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1 Tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 Tbsp
  • Mint Leaves for Garnish
  • Lemon Slices for Garnish

Method

  1. In a pan, add jamuns and water and cook for 10-12 minutes on high flame.
  2. Let it cool and remove the seeds
  3. Blend the pulp well
  4. In a pan, add jamun pulp, salt, sugar, cumin powder, black salt, chilli powder and cook for another 10-15 minutes on high flame.
  5. Let it cool completely and pour it in a bottle and keep it in a refrigerator for 2-3 months.
  6. In a jug add ice cubes, jamun concentrate, lemon juice, black pepper and chilled waters.
  7. Pour it in a glass and garnish it with lemon slice and mint leaves.
